Let's Partner to Save more Animals!

Midlands Humane Society is proud of the partnerships we have built over the years. We'd love to grow our partners to help improve the lives of pets and people!  This list is ever changing and expanding.  If you are interested in becoming a partner organization, we would be happy to discuss how we can work together.

We currently partner with the following:

City of Council Bluffs Animal Control  (Animal control services and housing)

Pottawattamie County Animal Control  (Animal control services and housing)

Iowa Western Community College Veterinary Technician Program (House and care for shelter pets, while giving vet tech students hands-on experience)

Nebraska Humane Society (Partner for spay and neuter procedures/vaccines for numerous shelter pets prior to adoption)

Urgent Pet Care (Veterinary care for our shelter animals and event sponsorships)

Council Bluffs Veterinary Clinic (Veterinary care for our shelter animals and event sponsorships)

Best Friends Animal Society (Mentorship programs and advice for animal welfare circumstances)

Iowa Federation of Humane Societies (IFHS)

Humane Society of the United States (Assistance for issues regarding animal welfare and legal concerns

Tri-State Coalition (Hosted by the Siouxland Humane Society, this coalition assists with sharing of information and resources regarding a wide range of topics)

PetSmart Charities (Granting organization, donation of pet supplies and adoption events)

Petco Love (Granting organization, donation of pet supplies and adoption events)

Bissell Pet Foundation (Adoption event grant sponsor)

Tito's Vodka (Donation of product and grant)

The Daily Nonpareil (Publish weekly articles/pet photos in each Saturday newspaper covering a wide variety of topics - Articles provided by MHS staff)

Thunderbowl/McCoy's (Location host for our Annual Wags & Wheels Car Show)

New Horizon Presbyterian Church (Location host for our Annual Howl-oween Howl 5K Fun Run/Walk)
