How to Become a Volunteer
Step 1: Attend general orientation to decide if MHS is the right fit for you.
- Wednesday, September 23rd from 6:30-7:15 pm *FULL*
- Saturday, October 3rd from 9:45-10:30 am
To sign up for general orientation, please email the Volunteer Coordinator, Mariah Garcia, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 712-396-2263 with the date you will be attending.
*Number of attendees per orientation will be limited to ensure social distancing
Step 2: Fill out a volunteer application. There is a $25 application fee that includes a volunteer t-shirt and a nametag/lanyard and helps to cover administrative costs.
Step 3: Complete volunteer training sessions based on your skills/interests.
Step 4: Join our volunteer team to help save the animals!
